Orbital Greens™
Our Technology
Orbital Greens offers a revolutionary approach to indoor produce cultivation, setting new standards in the vertical farming industry. By achieving the "holy grail" of vertical farming—efficient, fully automated cultivation, harvesting, and production—Orbital Greens is positioned to lead the way in sustainable agriculture. Our exclusive rights to use patented and proprietary Rotational Garden Systems allow us to optimize space while dramatically reducing operational costs. This advanced technology provides a cost-effective and environmentally sustainable solution compared to traditional indoor farming methods.
In addition to our innovative Rotational Garden Systems, each Orbital Greens facility is designed for maximum efficiency. Fully equipped with conveyor systems, elevators, nutrient delivery systems, plant transplant systems, propagation lines, harvesting lines, washing and drying lines, packaging lines, and other essential equipment, our facilities ensure seamless production from cultivation to processing. Every aspect of the operation is automated to enhance productivity and maintain the highest standards of food safety and quality.
At Orbital Greens, we integrate advanced technology with sustainable practices, redefining the future of indoor farming and delivering premium-quality produce year-round at the industry's lowest costs.
Proprietary LED Lighting System
The Garden Systems maximize plant surface grow area by situating a spherical garden around a centrally placed, proprietary LED lighting system. Decreased Electricity Consumption with more then 45% electricity savings when compared to other indoor vertical farming technologies.
100% utilization of light reduces power costs. All plants receive equal access to light and nutrients providing consistent quality yields. Orbital Greens uses up to 2000w LED light for 16.2㎡ making it very competitive with any other Led light system for vertical farming when it comes to same coverage area.

Direct Injection System
The Orbital Greens Garden Systems are equipped with a closed-loop, proprietary water and nutrient delivery system, controlled by enterprise-level data analytics software. This system precisely administers either purified water (for soil-based growing) or a purified water-nutrient solution (for hydroponic setups) through direct injection. The software ensures the exact amount of nutrients is delivered to each tray, down to the milliliter, minimizing waste of both water and nutrients.
Any excess water or nutrient mix from the feeding process, along with water recaptured through a cutting-edge dehumidification system (after plant transpiration), is recycled through a state-of-the-art purification system. This continuous recycling process helps maintain a highly efficient and sustainable growing environment, optimizing water usage and reducing waste.

OG Grow®Software
An in-house designed software platform provides dynamic, real time analysis of each Garden System, automating all aspects of the cultivation cycle, including revolution speed, light parameters (schedules, intensity spectrum), nutrient delivery, temperature, humidity and management through Orbital Greens Fertigation System, and automation of the AGVs for crop loading and unloading, providing pre programable control and complete oversight.

Fertigation & Nutrient Mix System
Orbital Greens proprietary Fertilization System integrates seamlessly into it's iGrow Software system, automating the delivery of crop feeding solution to each Orbital Green Garden System, facility-wide. The Fertigation System can be pre-programed, loading variable crop specific recipes and delivery times, throughout each cultivation cycle

Advanced Robotics Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV)
Orbital Greens utilizes unique, designed in-house, proprietary Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) to transport plants seamlessly from propagation to harvesting, setting the company apart from other indoor farming operations. These AGVs, controlled remotely via the OG Grow software, fully automate the movement of growing trays, minimizing human intervention. By reducing manual handling, Orbital Greens lowers labor costs, decreases the risk of human error, and minimizes the potential introduction of pathogens into the cultivation area, ensuring the production of safe, secure, and sustainable crops.
